Trump Looking To End Birthright Citizenship

Post by psk836 » Wed Aug 21, 2019 7:30 pm

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019 ... by-policy/

“Today, there are at least 4.5 million anchor babies in the U.S., exceeding the annual roughly four million American babies born every year and costing American taxpayers about $2.4 billion every year to subsidize hospital costs. Every year, about 300,000 anchor babies are born in the country and as of June, there has been an average of about 124,000 anchor babies already born this year.”

“The U.S. is nearly alone in granting birthright citizenship to the children of foreign nationals and, specifically, illegal aliens. For example, the U.S. and Canada are the only two developed nations with birthright citizenship. On the other hand, countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, and Germany all have either outlawed birthright citizenship or never had such a policy.“

I guess Breitbart wants to ignore the fact that every anchor baby is a goldmine for the US. As long as they are citizens, their earnings are taxable.

That's right. Everyone one of those wealthy Chinese or Russian babies will be paying US taxes for the rest of their lives, whether they live here or not.

And birth tourism is where Brietbart's argument falls apart. More than half of those 'anchor' babies are born via birth tourism. And the president has been making major dollars on those birth tourists from Russia who stay at his Miami Trump Tower II.

► A lot of countries don’t have birthright citizenship. I recall England is one.

But Donald Trump can’t do anything about it, except jerk you off

hmm... I think you've forgotten United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898). The SCOTUS ruled that anyone born in this country is automatically a citizen.
