Seen that and I did an install from the web... OPTION-COMMAND-R and it went online to get the install

► Take it to an Apple Store and show it to one one of the techs on the floor

That machine is probably older than the techs at the store.

Took it to my Mac guy... tried everything. He even had a Mac PC he cloned my drive with and nothing... bad video

Ouch. Bad video? Not worth repairing.

Yup. The video chips chipset on the main board was getting damn hot and started shutting down. Oh well. I'll get another one soon... thanks for the help.

Personally, I think this board needs to get out of the food fight mode and back to the debate mode.
