I find the choices of AWK if Biden were to win and the choice of CGC if Ol' Bern wins particularly compelling.

Curious choices. Tesla in particular. No matter who wins, the auto industry is moving to electrification. If Bernie wins and we have the big deduction for buying electric, everyone benefits, not just Tesla. In fact, I'd expect the new electric Hummer to be a big seller.

“the market generally likes two main pieces: the ease of doing business and certainty in the investing environment.”

Trump for the ease of doing business. Less taxes & regulations.

And of course, "certainty" if a "D" is throwing money somewhere. As with 0bama's QE, that liberals like nobrain pride themselves on.

Agree?

WE as in the total POPULATION of the US who might want to xxxx a car because there's a big tax deduction that goes with it. EVERYONE represents the carmakers who are making electric vehicles. Instead of just Tesla benefitting, everyone making an electric vehicle benefits.

So Obama's QE was bad but Trump's is good?

Estas loco, senor Bags. Service industry workers in the gig economy are not buying stocks. They can't afford $800 for a single share of Tesla, or even the $214 for a share of Facebook.

Does anyone here live in the real world?

There were shovel ready jobs. Recovery did start. That's what the numbers say. Those are facts you continue to deny. Then again, maybe you don't think the sun rises in the East.

And I'm assuming nothing. I merely pointing to the fact that IF subsidies for electric cars were to return, IF, then it won't be just Tesla that reaps the benefits. My apologies if I didn't make that clear the first time.
