OK MilTaint we get it. Drugs and alcohol make people do things they normally wouldn't do. Nationwide
Drinking and driving for example.....

Not good.
My son was drinking while driving, like Pete claimed to do, and was arrested when he was stopped by Phoenix police.
He was a 18yo freshman at ASU Tempe.

My parents, who financed nearly all of their grandchildren's education [thank you Jesus], immediately cut him off.

We don't encourage "stupid" in La Famiglia Brook.
What were the charges?
DUI ……..he blew a .06………had an open can of beer in the car.

After some billable hours, the charges were dropped to reckless driving.
No treatment options? Kid may have needed help
Oh he got all the help he needed. I paid his attorney bill…..which my wife made him pay back.

His stupidity of having an open container of beer in the car hit us real hard.
So not the ruthless banishment you portrayed earlier?

“ruthless banishment?”

I don’t know what you are referencing.

Ruthless banishment? Sounds like good discipline.

Indeed……..appropriate discipline of one’s spawn is a necessity……in fact, imo, one can not claim to love their children if they are not willing to discipline them.

My 18 yo son realized very quickly that driving WHILE DRINKING was a stupid move on his part.

Imagine…..he was driving with an open can of beer………like I’ve said, we don’t support “stupid” in Brookie-land.

On another issue……do you think Senator Sinema will run as an independent in 2024?

Sinema running is the only way Lake could win. And I don't think she will. I'm guessing she's going to take a cushy corporate job lobbying her former colleagues.

No excuse for an 18 year old to do something that stupid, but how about a 63 year old who does that sort of thing regularly?

Eventually, he'll be arrested. Let's hope that happens before he's in an accident.

I can't figure out why anybody would be arrested for being well under the legal limit.
